Our version of ESB (Extra Special Bitter) pours a very clear light rust colour with an airy tan head. On the nose you’ll find bready malts and a noticeable toffee like sweetness that’s balanced with plenty of fruity esters from the English ale yeast. At first sip, the taste is sweet, bringing caramel and dark toasted malt to the forefront supported by subtle dried fruit that transitions quickly to an earthy, and lightly spicy hop profile with a touch of alcohol warmth. This beer pairs well with pizza, grilled chicken, bread pudding and dark pub corners.
